Two lap dogs with red ribbon collars, one baiting another stood on an elaborate red cushion, oil on canvas, 44cmx55.5cm Provenance: from the estate of Elizabeth Pepys-Cockerell, whose husband John was a descendant of the diarist Samuel Pepys. His ancestors had a long association with Sezincote in Gloucestershire
