Antique Chinese Robe.

Antique Chinese Robe. This robe is made from a fine gauze with patterns within, the sleeves are embroided on a fine silk ground with examples of "forbidden stitch."  The fine flower embroidery is surrounded with gold couched thread. There is some damage in the fine embroidered trim near the back neck line.
