A bronze hanging oil lamp. probably French in 17th Century style
A bronze hanging oil lamp. probably French in 17th Century style, with a wrought-iron hook attached to the loop handle issuing from the disc shaped body with a taper hole and a filling hole fitted with a cockerel shaped screw, together with a pottery oil lamp with carved deity figure.
