This "VeeDub" has had three owners from new and, whilst being on the road legally with Tax and Test, it is best summed up as a "running restoration" in need of some tender loving care.
The Immortal Beetle needs very little introduction from us, being originally conceived by Dr Ferdinand Porsche in the 1930s as a literal "Volks Wagen" - "People's Car" - it grew into the world's second most produced car with a cult-like following amongst devotees.
The 1303 is a "Super Beetle", benefiting from the longer nose, larger glass area and heater improvements. This could become a great little car once again, or quite easily run for the rest of the year until its MOT runs out - all of this is for the new owner to decide. It occurs to this cataloguer that it could be the perfect donor for another machine - given it has been in daily use right up until the sale, covering 76, 800 miles from new.
Price Achieved: £1000.00
