1967 Volvo P1800S. One of the iconic "TV Star" cars of the 1960's. Arguably as famous as The Prisoner's Lotus Seven and James Bond's Aston Martin, Simon Templar, as portrayed by Roger Moore in "The Saint" benefitted from a Volvo P1800 as his "wheels". This example mirrors that machine, in that it presents in white with red interior.
This example is a manual, with overdrive, which has benefittred from much time and money being expended whilst in its current owners small private collection of classics. A regualr visitor to Goodwood's Annual Revival event, this car has graced the period car park and is always commented upon. With its original Webasto sun roof it is a most stylish and practical "Grand Tourer"and only needing the slightest of attention to a few small areas to make it surely one of the best around.
