Catalogue Description

A Chinese blue and white bottle vase with globular body and waisted neck, scrolling and undulating flowerheads, ruyi shoulder band, pointed leaf tips to the neck, bearing Qianlong seal mark, 36cmH, and an unrelated wooden vase stand Condition Report: Very good condition - no cracks or chips at all. Slight layer of dirt - could do with a proper clean. One glaze contraction to the middle of the vase and one inside the lip. Small amount of paint is on the main body but this could also be cleaned off. Provenance: Private family - Grandmother lived in Shanghai and Hong Kong in the 1930s and 1940s most likely returned with her to England and has been in the family since then.
