Significant Camera Collection follows the next General Sale, Thursday 5th December.

Busby will be offering an extensive single owner collection of vintage cameras and lenses at their December 5 General Sale. The collection belongs to the late Peter Clarke who was an enthusiastic follower of motor racing and was, in his twenties, a successful sports car driver the highlight of his career coming second to David Piper in the 9 hour race at Kyalami in 1996 co-driving with Rollo Fielding. However, his enduring passion was for cameras and from very early on in his schooldays until the end of his life he collected and later sold to an appreciative group of collectors a vast range of cameras and lenses ranging from the vintage to the extremely rare models which seldom come on to the market.

 Items for sale will  include a Nikon F; Canon 7 with Canon 50mm 0.95 (very rare); Minox 35GT boxed and complete; around 50 Olympus OM bodies most with lenses; a Tessina 35mm sub miniature TLR (rare); Polaroid Cameras including SX-70; a Sigma Canon-fit 500mm f-4.5; several Olympus XAs; a Zenza Bronica ETRS with 3 lenses and a Mamiya 645 with 3 lenses.

 In excess of 400 cameras, most with lenses and an additional 350 or so lenses will be for sale on the day.

Viewing of this sale takes place Saturday 30th November 10am to 12pm; Tuesday 3rd December 9am to 5pm; Wednesday 4th December 9am to 7pm and the morning of the sale until 10.45am.
