Covid-19 Precautionary Measures

Following the Government’s advice we will be re-opening our offices from Monday 1st June. However, our doors will not be open to the public, except for the delivery and collection of goods at our specified delivery times (below).

Viewing sales

To help keep numbers down, we will be open for viewing by appointment during working hours once the sale catalogue is online. Our normal viewing hours also apply, but numbers will be limited.


We will be implementing the following precautions on sale-day to allow limited bidding in the room to be possible in line with the current rules on ‘mass gatherings’

  • Capacity will be limited to 20 people at any one time. Once full, we will operate a one in one out system, so highly reccomend that all who can bid on one of our online platforms, rather than risk disappointment. Please visit either www.easyliveauction.com or The-Saleroom.com and register to bid.

  • There will be no collection or payment on the day of the sale

  • We will be operating a one way system. After bidding, please leave by the back door of the saleroom

  • Everyone must wear a face mask/covering – masks will be available at reception.

  • There will be no viewing on the day, and only those who intend to bid may attend.

If you are successful in bidding, we will be open for collection during normal office hours from Friday onwards. Please call at least an hour in advance so we can have your items ready for you We apologise for any inconvenience, and thank you for your co-operation in these strange times.

Delivery of goods for valuation or sale

We will be open for delivery of goods for valuation or sale every Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am - 1pm. Please ring the office bell, and we will direct you around to the goods entrance.

We apologise that as an extra precaution, we will not be able to assist with carrying items, as no items can be touched by staff for 72 hours.

Collection of items

Please call at least an hour in advance of collecting items so we can have your items ready at the back entrance. Until further notice, we will not be taking card payments, so goods will need to be paid for in advance by BACS or using the online payment portal on the emailed invoice.

Home visits and valuations

We will be undertaking home visits as normal, with the obvious precautionary social distancing measures in mind.

If you require a valuation of items, where possible we recommend sending photos to us at [email protected] We are available for valuations in person every Tuesday and Wednesday morning, 10am to 1pm, or by prior appointment at other times.

Please note, our toilets will not be available to members of the public at any time
