Sandy Mallet has spent over 25 years in the art world. He started out with Sotheby’s, becoming head of department, then moving off into the museum world, setting up and curating exhibitions internationally. Since then he has worked as a picture dealer in London, both with Old Masters and as an expert in Modern British art. He has written and published widely on post-war and contemporary art, and is a chosen expert in government acceptance in lieu cases.
Sandy has been well known to readers of the Antiques Trade Gazette as a regular columnist for some years, and is one of the art world’s renowned picture experts.
