Kate Harris heads up the clothing and textiles department. She read Classics at Cambridge, and later worked in conservation at the Victorian Society and with English Heritage before a period in the fine art world with the Matthiesen Gallery in St James, London. She has been associated with a number of collections of clothing and textiles for many years at one time working alongside Isabella Blow and the fashion section at The Tatler magazine.
Since then she relocated with her family to Dorset and has been responsible for the sale of a number of museum quality pieces of textiles and lace as well as more recognised couture labels such as Dior, Chanel, Pucci and Worth.
